Science Prezi

Hey guys,
Today at school, we learn about forces. What is force? Force is something that could stop our body/things. Imagine that you are driving a car and you saw someone crash and their body go out of the seat and they can't stop except there is something in front of them that force them to stop. That is why it is important to wear a seat belt every time you are in a car.  This is how to test the force: run at different speed and try to stop. You will feel the faster you run the harder it gets to stop because the air pushes you to the front when you wants to stop. After that test, we watch a video of a person making a fake car and use a egg to be the dummy. So,our teacher splits us up to a small groups. We get the material that we need and make a car and the materials are pump bottle,4 wheels, 2 straws, small metal stick, rubber bands,egg carton and styrofoam. At first, it was hard because you have make the body using the pump bottle and we need to carved it to make a room for the seat. Then, we took the two straw and  4 wheels to made the car's wheels. Then, we made it out of egg carton for the seat, styrofoam for protection, rubber bands for the seat belts. The most important part is the bumper because it absorb the force to make the air bag of the car and for our car, it is made out of styrofoam. Now, it is done. But done forget the egg. Time to test it. We went to a big wall and crashed it but first it must use the seat belts and your egg will  be fine. After that, crashed it again but without the seatbelts and see what happen. After you see what happen you will know how important it is to wear a seat belts. Please spare some time to see my prezi. I did a lot of hard work on my prezi. My Holiday

Last week,I went to Franklin Countryside with my dad,mom and my sister. We went there on the next day of my dad visiting us. My sister planning are to go to the art museum and the library,old train station called Glenbrook Vintage Railway and the old lighthouse called Manukau Heads Lighthouse. We will eat at a restaurant called The Kentish Hotel.

First,we went to the art museum and we captured some picture of it. Then we went to the library and read some books but I brought my own book so I read my own book. We captured some pictures of some decorations of the library.

After,we finished at the art museum and the library. We went to a old train station called Glenbrook Vintage Railway and we captured some pictures but sadly we couldn’t come in the station because it was closed and it only open four times a month. The train is so rusty and old but it still work.

Glenbrook Vintage Railway is used as a train station. It was located at 153 Glenbrook Station Rd, Mauku 2681. It was built by New Zealand government railway and it was open in 1922 and closed in 1967 and it was reopen in 1977. The train still work until now and you can ride it and it travel for four hours.

After,we finished at the old train station called Glenbrook Vintage Railway. We went to a restaurant called The Kentish Hotel. Before we eat,we captured some pictures and then we ate. We ordered a pasta,fish and chip and noodles. It is so delicious and I ate all of the pasta. We finish all the food and everybody is full.

The Kentish Hotel is used as a hotel and it is quite  old. The hotel was built by Edward Constable in 1851. The hotel is positioned at 5 Queen St, Waikuku 2123. Most of the hotel is made out of woods. The hotel looks like an old western house.

After,we ate at the restaurant. We went to a lighthouse called Manukau Heads Lighthouse and we captured some picture of it. The wind is so strong that it almost push me off. The view is beautiful. It is cold there because we are up high on the mountain.

Manukau Heads Lighthouse was first build in 1874. It was located at 759 Manukau Heads Rd, Huia, Manukau Heads 2684. Most of the lighthouse is made out of woods. The lighthouse is small and tall.

After we finished going to all three place, we went back home and the best part is that my mom cooked my favourite food, spaghetti. Yeah!!!! I finished it in a fast mode. It is so delicious!!! After I finished the dish, I went to clean myself and after I finished cleaning myself, I went to watch some movies and went to sleep.
